The Miller Trophy
A trophy awarded to the band for a float they entered in a parade for GM Week. The trophy was awarded by the Miller Brewing Company. Before the legal drinking age was raised to 21, beer companies sponsored GM Week, and provided free beer to students. This is the origin of the GM Week mugs.
The trophy is passed from conductor to conductor.
