The Houston Field House is the location of the rink for Rensselaer home hockey games. It seats 5,217 people, the largest rink in the ECAC, and was the only rink with a stage for the Pep Band until the 2010-2011 season when the stage was removed and the Pep Band was moved to the stands. It is also used for other events such as concerts. It is located on Peoples Avenue, just off Burdett Avenue.
