"Baby Elephant Walk" was written by Henry Mancini in 1961 for the movie "Hatari!". This version was arranged by Johnnie Vinson.

Instrumentation requirements

Trumpets and high winds have the melody at measure 5, and trombones(?) have the melody at measure 34.

History

Following a hazing scandal in the 1999-2000 season by Vermont, "Baby Elephant Walk" was typically played by the band whenever the team played the Catamounts (up until they moved from the ECAC conference to Hockey East).
