I'm Chris Behrens PHYS '08. I've played alto sax in the band for 4+ years, and am also comfortable playing most of the other instruments in the band. You can get in contact with me by email, on AIM (CnoTe946), or here on my user talk page.
To Do
Arranging
- Finish up re-arranging Freeze-Frame - just need to balance parts.
- I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown - I'm about halfway done with this.
- Come On Eileen by Dexys Midnight Runners - I'm planning on using the Reel Big Fish/Save Ferris cover as a guideline.
- September by Earth, Wind and Fire - will be challenging to write, so I'll save it for last.
Pep Band
- Conduct the band for a period break.
Wiki
- Add my personal account of the roadtrips I've been on (23 as of this edit).
- Fill out information for the rest of the songs in the active set.
- Figure out a format for a page for Natural Noise Intramurals and fill it out.
- Fix the quotes page.
2008 ECAC Championship Fan Festival
- Nothing's happening with this unless we get invited to play again.
Favorite Songs
- Children of Sanchez - the loudest, best-sounding, most-fun-to-play song we have.
- The Fans Love It! - we typically play it when we're up 5-0, and it's really catchy.
- Victory Dance - enough said.
- Final Countdown - boring alto part, but fun to play.
- Joshua - so much going on, and trombone death scissors: what more could you want?
Least Favorite Songs
- Get Ready For This - repitition for the loss.
- Clarkson Sucks - BOP BOP BOP. BOP BOP BOP.
- The Horse - just a boring song to play. Too bad it's a pep band staple.
- Magnum π - the parts we have are only barely legible. If we ould read the music, maybe I'd change my mind on this one.
- Hang On Sloopy - such a boring song to play.
Songs I'd Like To Read
On Notice
- Bears
- The three drunken amigos at the 2007 ECAC championship game (I won't make this one a page unless it's requested)
Dead To Me
- Eugene Binda Jr. - The ultimate home ice advantage!
- Random Colgate fan in the green shirt who was being an asshole and pretend conducting when Dan was conducting the band
- That's Alright, That's Okay - I've never liked this cheer.
- ECAC officiating in 2007-2008 - apparently you *can* fight yourself and get a 5 minute major for it.
- Clarkson Pep Band - after witnessing the last trip up to the North Country, there's probably no point in trying to make good with them.
