For no apparent reason, there was a large, broken spring in West Hall 326. It was most likely part of a vehicle's suspension system.

The spring, like the [[inanimate carbon rod]], was used as a candidate during [[conductor]] and [[manager]] elections.

The current locations of the spring are unknown, but it may have been disposed of at the same time as the Inanimate carbon rod.
