Can someone with access to this music please send me the score and/or a '''complete''' set of parts to edit (including stuff we don't typically use like Bells, 2nd Alto Sax, etc). IIRC, just working with the score won't work because this one only has a very condensed score (possibly even just a piano reduction) and I would need to see all the parts. I really like the song, I think if the tempo is turned up a bit it can be peppy enough to work (and certainly works as it stands for a Pep Band in Concert type venue), and I would like to at least see if there is a way to improve the arrangement. The thing is, with the way it is currently written, the rhythms are actually very true to Mason Williams' intent. However, I agree, it is a bear to read. I think that much of the song can be reduced to Common Time, with accents to carry what is currently written as several other signatures. At the same time, send the score for Summon the Heroes and I'll start typing that up as well. Contact me by e-mail and I'll send shipping info. Thank you.
