About the song
Written by Richard O'Brien.
Arranged by Tom Wallace, percussion by Tony McCutchen.
From the movie The Rocky Horror Picture Show.
Instrumentation requirements
Percussion "tap dance" solo, measures 50 - 61.
Roadmap
Played as written, but in measures 28 and 29 (the 2/4 measure), the band has a hold, and it is customary for the conductor to count off "ONE, TWO, THREE, FOUR, ONE, TWO", and likewise "TWO, THREE, FOUR" in measure 33.
Dances
Just like the lyrics say... It's just a jump to the left, and then a step to the right. Hold your hands on your hips, and bring your knees in tight (at the appropriate point in the song). Some members also choose to fall over at the end of the song.
History
This song was played with the Cornell Pep Band when they visited during the 2006-2007 season.
