This cheer is usually done at the beginning of each period at hockey games, right after the puck drops. During the first and third periods, Dr. Who is played as close to the puck drop as possible, and is then followed by this cheer after the puck drop. Go Go Go You Red Red Red is also done during both hockey and football games as a way of starting the Let's Go Red cheer.
