About this cheer
This cheer is an abridged arrangement of "Brick House", originally recorded by The Commodores in 1977. This arrangement is written by Will Schmarder '08. It is intended to be played during a stretch of time when our goalie/defense is making a lot of great plays on the defensive end, but as with That's the Way and Superman, the window of opportunity to play this cheer is small.
Instrumentation requirements
The bass line should be adequately represented, as it is the most recognizable part of the song.
History
Brick House was added to the cheer sheets in January 2007 as part of a rewrite to make the print more legible (and to add cheers).
Brick House was removed from the cheer sheets in 2014.
