About this song

"Fever" from Dr. Mario was written by Hirokazu Tanaka. This version was arranged by Steve Mulick '07. "Fever" is one of the background music tracks for the NES game Dr. Mario.

Instrumentation requirements

This song will work with most instrumentations, but a balanced group will sound best.

Roadmap

In measure 10, high woodwinds and alto saxes have very complex rhythms accompanied by a message saying "have fun!". These notes are just there to be used as a guideline for improvisation (it's supposed to sound like a jumbled mess). Other than that, the D.S. goes back to measure 3, with the fine being right before the A section.

History

This song was added to the set in 2006. It replaced the old number 434, Summon the Heroes, which got misplaced at some point and was forgotten about. All that remains of it is a score, so technically it could be written out at some point.

The given tempo is "Tempo del medico Italiano"
