The "Red Hawk"

AKA The Chicken, this was the mascot of most of the non-Hockey, non-Football sports teams at RPI prior to 2009-2010 season. The Red Hawk used to make appearances at football games, but stopped doing so several years before being officially being dropped as a mascot for RPI's other sports.

When it did make appearances at games it was frequently poked fun at by members of the band with chants of "I feel like chicken tonight" (a reference to an old commercial for this product).
