The Northeastern Huskies were members of the ECAC from its founding in the 1961-1962 season until they left following the 1983-1984 season to become a founding member of the Hockey East conference.
Although Norhteastern is no longer a member of the ECAC, the band visited their rink for a women's hockey game during the 2010-2011 season.
