For the other flag, see Small Flag.
The larger of the band's two flags, The Big Flag is a copy of the official Rensselaer flag given to the band by former RPI President R. Byron Pipes. It is waved during hockey games during all playings of Hail.
For many years the flag was mounted between two roughly 8 foot long pieces of wood. Following the 2004-2005 season it was taken off of its mounting, cleaned, and put on a new 8 foot red hockey stick. The Big Flag is currently waved by male flute player whose name I've forgotten.
