This cheer is performed immediately after Hail when the Engineers score a goal during a hockey game.
The band and game spectators count off the team's total score while waving one arm towards the opposing goalie. For example, if the Engineers have just scored their third goal, the crowd and band would chant:
- "One, two, three, we want more! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve!..."
The word "sieve" is repeated an indefinite number of times, and while the first two or three chants of "sieve" are in unison, the chant eventually devolves into applause. It is also customary for the bass drum to be struck along with each word of the cheer.
