About the song
Originally recorded by Otis Redding, covered more famously by the Blues Brothers.
Instrumentation requirements
Lots and lots of brass.
Roadmap
In the current (as of 2007) Quinnipiac fight song version, the band starts at measure 20 and plays the rest of the song as written, slightly under Clarkson tempo.
If we were ever to play this song, I'd imagine it would be as written.
History
This is the "fight song" for Clarkson University. The pep band has affectionately renamed this song "Die Clarkson, Die". Colgate's pep band has also taken this moniker. This is also the fight song for Quinnipiac University.
