About this cheer
This cheer is an arrangement of the 20th Century Fox fanfare, written by Alfred Newman in 1933. It is the music that accompanies the 20th Century Fox logo at the beginning of their movies.
Instrumentation requirements
At least a handful of trumpets are needed for the first half of the fanfare (the more the better), and enough woodwinds to be heard on the second part of the fanfare.
History
20th Century Fox was added to the cheer sheets in January 2007 as part of a rewrite to make the print more legible (and to add cheers). Prior to 2007, this cheer was found in the trumpet cheer sheet, a page separate from the full band cheer sheets.
