The person, of a team of two, silly enough to want to be the business manager of the band. Responsible for all interactions with the Rensselaer Union. For a list of things that are traditionally done by/to the managers, see Manager Traditions.

The current system of two concurrently elected managers has not always been in place. Before the mid-1980s, the band had a senior band manager and an assistant band manager. One election was held per year and there was an understood two-year commitment that the electee would serve the first year as assistant manager and the second year as senior manager.
