About this cheer
This cheer is one of the songs from the Game Boy version of Tetris, arranged by Steve Mulick '07.
Instrumentation requirements
Melody:
- Flute
- Alto sax
- Trumpet 1
Harmony:
- Clarinet
- Tenor sax
- Trumpet 2/3
Bass 1:
- Mellophone
- Baritone
Bass 2:
- Bari sax
- Trombone
- Sousaphone
The bass 1 and bass 2 parts were written in response to the octave jumps in the bassline of the original music. For this reason, having both bass parts covered for this cheer is not essential, but desired.
History
This cheer was added to the cheer sheets in January 2007, when the cheer sheets were rewritten to add songs and make the print more legible. In recent years, this is the song that the trombones will usually veto.
