The Cornell Big Red have played in the ECAC since its formation in the 1961-1962 season. They are travel partners with Colgate.
Where to Stay
There are a number of decently-priced hotels in the Ithaca area, or if not in nearby Cortland. In 2008 the band stayed at the Econo Lodge on Triphammer Road in Ithaca. It was well-priced and nice on the inside, with a decent free breakfast and high speed wireless internet. It was across the street from the Pyramid mall and only a few minutes' drive from Cornell campus and downtown Ithaca.

What to Do
If you're looking for a mall to kill time in, the Pyramid mall is your best bet. It isn't huge, but it's got food and some stores; pretty much a run of the mill mall.
