Instrumentation Requirements
- Back in Black
- A percussion section watching closely and starting together.
- At one hockey game, the band managed to end up with two distinct downbeats almost one eighth note/rest out of phase. This should be avoided at all costs as it may cause nausea.
- Play That Funky Music
- Good saxes make it sound better, but it'll work anyway.
Roadmap
- Play That Funky Music
- This song is usually easier when started at rehearsal letter A or rehearsal letter B. The beginning is ... funky.
- Latin Burner
- As written, the repeated section is meant to be taken 3 times. You can do this, you can only play it twice, or you can vamp it out as needed. Just make sure that if you vamp it, you end on beat 3 of the measure that makes up the first ending or beat 1 of the first measure.
History
- This song sheet was bought/introduced by Victoria Myers during the 2002-2003 season.
- Songs were sometimes unofficially referred to by their own number (eg: Back in Black would be 0.11).
