I'm Chris Behrens PHYS '07, I play alto sax (and sometimes other things) in the pep band. You can get a hold of me by RPI email or on AIM (CnoTe946).
To Do
- Arranging:
- I Got You (I Feel Good): I had a major setback on this one in the beginning of April (my hard drive died), so it's looking like this is going to be a summer job.
- Build Me Up Buttercup: On hold until we talk with Quinnipiac's band.
- Come On Eileen: I'll start this up in the summer.
- Want to Arrange:
- Be Yourself: Originally recorded by Issac Hayes, off of the "Shaft" soundtrack. It's R&B-ish, with a solid beat. Also, it will be really easy to play (the sousas will probably hate it, because the bass part is more or less really boring).
- The Rooster: Originally recorded by Outkast. I think a lot of their songs would sound good arranged for pep band, but this would be a good one to try it out on because the song is really intense. It might work better as a cheer than a full song though.
- Recruit members for the Material Command (Spirit) Committee for the Red Army.
