Pep Band on Ice

A campaign promise of conductors as far back as 1990, Pep Band on Ice would have been an attempt to have the Pep Band perform at ice-level either on skates or with shoes, in a style not unlike that of a marching band, similar to what the Brown Pep Band does after some of their games.

There is no record of Pep Band on Ice ever actually happening.

Due to the extreme likelihood of injury or damage to instruments, as well as the lack of time during hockey game intermissions at which Pep Band on Ice could actually occur, no conductor ever made a serious effort to deliver on their promise.

Over the years of failure to live up to their promise of Pep Band on Ice, conductor candidates have stopped including it in their campaign platforms with no one having used it since at least 2003.
