Freakout 2022 ended up being a close game against Colgate University. Colgate scored first, with RPI tying it up by the end of the first period. Colgate scored twice in the second period, which was enough to give them the win even with an RPI goal halfway through the third period and a 6-on-4 opportunity in the last minute of the game. Due to COVID regulations, outside & alumni fans (and band members) were not allowed to attend the game.
