Freakout 2025 was a back and forth affair between the Engineers and the Bulldogs. Yale took an early lead, but one minute later RPI tied it up with 30 seconds left in the first. The second period started off calm with Yale scoring once again halfway through the period, but RPI soon tied it back up four minutes later. With less than 5 seconds on the clock in the second, Felix Caron scored sending the Field House into a frenzy to put RPI into the lead for the first time all game. In the third period RPI scored 2 empty net goals with goalie Noah Giesbrecht getting the assist on the second. With a final score of 5-2, the Engineers put on an outstanding performance, perhaps the best of the whole season.
