Pep Band Manfesto

The Pep Band Manifesto was created by AJ Macey at the 2005 ECAC Northwest Championship Game against St. John Fisher. It was written on a piece of wood which was removed from the border of a large Rensselaer banner which was found in one of the closets in West Hall.

After returning to Troy, it was put back into the closet from whence it came. The Manifesto was unearthed nearly 20 years later in the Pep Closet in J-Building. On the front of the stick, it reads "The Official Pep Band Manifesto". On the back, it reads:

"This is the official Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute Stick. It is used to beat people that are Douches, Demonsta [the stick broke here], douchedons (?), or freshmen. This stick is for the sole use of the RPI Pep Band. Damn it Lyle! We the students of the Pep Band officially decree that the city of Rochester sucks, just like Clarkson but not as bad. Damn its cold! Jay Bernardo Clap Clap Clap Clap Clap If you think about it, when you use a porta potty you are hovering inches above everyone else's crap. Damn it Lyle! I know I said it once, but it bears repeating now AHH! [too smudged to read]. I'd really like to finish this side but I'm running out of things to say that are remotely interesting. We got a touchdown WOO HOO! Trumpets, 1,2! Sieve Sieve Sieve Sieve Sieve! I'm done! Damn it Lyle!"
