Freakout 2011 was a matchup between #10 [[Engineers|RPI]] and #1 [[Yale University|Yale]]. It was the first time in recent memory that the band has played from the stands for Freakout, as the stage was not present due to ongoing construction in the [[Houston Field House|Field House]]. After the win the band played the band played [[070 - Hawaii Five-O|Hawaii Five-O]] during the [[Postgame Celebration|post-game celebration]] for the team extending its winning streak to 5 games. Freakout 2024 was a very close matchup of RPI vs Colgate University. Going through the first and second periods, it was a nailbiting game, with RPI always at one or two point from a tied score.
