For no apparent reason, there was a large, broken spring in West Hall 326. It was most likely part of a vehicle's suspension system.
The spring, like the inanimate carbon rod, was used as a candidate during conductor and manager elections. It was also subsequntly thrown out by Tim Tesluk after defeating it in elections for conductor in 2005.
