The Podium is the box on which the conductor stands at hockey games so that the people in the back rows of the band can see him or her conducting. The current podium is made of a steel frame with wooden panels on the four sides and on top. It was given to the band as a gift by the Alumni Association at Freakout 2005.
In the mix of construction over the summer of 2008, the Podium was "thrown away" by one of the several contractors. The responsible party has yet to be identified.
