Freakout 2011 was a matchup between #10 RPI and #1 Yale. It was the first time in recent memory that the band has played from the stands for Freakout, as the stage was not present due to ongoing construction in the Field House. After the win the band played the band played Hawaii Five-O during the post-game celebration for the team extending its winning streak to 5 games. In the post-game euphoria that followed, several other songs were played for no particular reason at all (among them Louie, Louie).
