"O Kazakhstan" was written by Erran Baron Cohen in 2006. This version was arranged by Gary Russinko, also in 2006. The song is from the movie "Borat: Cultural Learnings of America for Make Benefit Glorious Nation of Kazakhstan", and is used as Kazakhstan's national anthem in the movie. It is not to be confused with "My Kazakhstan", the actual national anthem of Kazakhstan.

There is a dramatic decelerando in the last four measures of the song.
History
The only performance of this song was at a 2006 women's hockey game at Quinnipiac. After that road trip the song was retired, since it was not very recognizable.
