This cheer is performed immediately after Hail when the Engineers score a goal during a hockey game.
The band and game spectators count off the team's total score while waving one arm towards the opposing goalie. For example, if the Engineers have just scored their third goal, the crowd and band would chant:
- "One, two, three, we want more! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Sieve! Siiiiiiieve!"
The word "sieve" is repeated seven times, and the last "sieve" is a little longer. There is then much applause, and high fives all around. In addition, anyone wearing a hard hat will tap it against anyone else wearing a hard hat's hard hat. It is also customary for the bass drum to be struck along with each word of the cheer with a small roll at the end.
