About this cheer
The Hartford Whalers used to have this song played after every goal they scored. It used to also be referred to as the "Hartford Whalers Victory March".
Instrumentation requirements
Really goes without saying, but this cheer sounds best with a lot of brass, low brass especially.
History
After we finish playing the cheer, a chant of "Hartford....sucks! Hartford....sucks! Hartford....doesn't exist!" usually follows. After the November 10, 2006 women's roadtrip at Quinnipiac, Hartford has been unofficially replaced by Northford, and then Harvard, and then Clarkson in this chant.
