On Friday night the NJ Alumni Chapter invited the band out to dinner at a Chinese Buffet after the game (which we accepted) and they paid half the price of our meals. Stayed at a Howard Johnson in beautiful New Brunswick, NJ. Saturday the band ate dinner at a small pizza place in New Haven (the same one that much of the band ate at during the 2004 Yale one night stand) and got to enjoy the game at Yale's rink, since Quinnipiac didn't have one at the time that could accommodate a D-I men's game. This was the game of the infamous referee bastard cheer, when the timing worked out perfectly to yell "BASTARD!" while the ref was skating right next to the band.
